#1. Plamendura, Bulgaria
Founder, Organizer & Beyond
Roots and Development – Born into a family where exact sciences and art were an inseparable part of daily life, her mother is a teacher of physics, astronomy, and mathematics, while her father is an applied artist and craftsman. Plam graduated with a Master’s degree in Slavic Philology, specializing in Polish language and pedagogy. A few years later, she earned a postgraduate qualification in Advertising, Marketing, and Business Communications. She possesses long-standing experience in the field of journalism and has been a published correspondent-journalist for numerous print editions. Amidst her diverse interests and activities, music and singing also weave through as an integral part of her daily life. From a very early age, she stood in front of the lens of her father, who ran an improvised black-and-white photography studio. As a model, she has worked with brands and prominent names such as the British gothic fantasy illustrator Anne Stokes (UK), collaborating with EMP on their Gothicana line for three consecutive years (2021-2023). She has also worked with Nox Arcana (USA), appearing in almost all of their video slide clips over the past five years, while also handling the talent scouting and selection for all models involved in the project. Her portfolio further includes collaborations with V.K.N.G. Jewelry (FR), Dare Fashion (USA), Dark Nailz, Gthic Jewelry, MoStory, Scarlet Darkness, Anne Stokes Collections, and the like. Plam runs her own brand, Plamendura Art, and has recently started collaborating with Anne Stokes on the Moon Witch Collectibles project. She also works alongside Joseph Vargo of Nox Arcana and Monolith Graphics under their joint brand Gothic Arcana Collectibles, dedicated to recreating his iconic illustrations in three-dimensional form. Additionally, she serves as the head artisan and coordinator for the boutique workshop of World Gothic Models — WGM Workshop. Plam also participated in the creation of Anne Stokes’ iconic Moon Witch illustration, which subsequently came to life as a grandiose statue crafted by the Spanish company Dream Figures.
Aesthetic and Identity – Her favorite gothic styles include Witchy, Romantic, Vampire, and Military Goth. She first encountered gothic rock and gothic metal bands at the tender age of 10, discovering groups like Paradise Lost, Crematory, The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, and more. Since childhood, she has felt a powerful attraction to the night, outer space, and things beyond what the naked eye can see. She is deeply interested in esotericism, an influence that shines through most prominently in her handcrafted work with WGM Workshop. She believes that happiness lies in balance and wherever pure love exists in any shape or form. She considers herself to be right on the borderline between an extrovert and an introvert. She was born in Veliko Tarnovo, one of the most beautiful cities in Bulgaria – a place with thousands of years of history, rich culture, and breathtaking architecture. Her hometown is one of the oldest in Europe, dating back around 6,000 years. For Plam, the Tsarevets Fortress leaves a lasting impression of the Spirit of the past, not only due to its sheer scale but also because of its night spectacle, Sound and Light, in which you sink spellbound into the grandiosity and magic of watching a piece of Bulgarian history recreated in an audio-visual extravaganza.
The Essence of Crafts – She is a detail-oriented person who values reciprocity and shared interests with like-minded souls. By searching for talent worldwide and discovering exceptional individuals, she was gradually encouraged over time to form this common home where people can mutually share their inspiration from everything around them, even through the filter of all things gothic. Above all, we are all human beings, and mutual appreciation and support are vital parts of creating and building a platform like WGM. Plam gained her prior experience in community building through the creation and development of the Bulgarian gothic art organization Bulgarian Gothic Girls (2011-2018), which to a vast extent served as the prototype for WGM.
Inspirations – Mysticism, esotericism, occultism, witchcraft, and the dark arts; music, the night, the stars, the moon, and romance; time travel, psychology, nature, and nocturnal animals; dark fantasy films, literature, art, and fashion; shared missions and the desire to help like-minded people grow and evolve alongside her.
Beyond the Veil – Shared causes are among the driving forces in Plamendura’s life. Finding the light even in the most hidden corners of darkness has its resonance, as does bringing it out into its rightful place. Plam stands for unity, mutual support, sincerity, and the courage to be authentic. Love brings people together, which is why she succeeds in building solid foundations for gothic culture around the world with the pure love and passion of an artist who loves to create alongside other creators and kindred spirits. Never give up, especially when you feel a profound love and have a driving power for what you do. Nothing can be forced, so be patient and persistent. The rest will come naturally, exactly where and when it is meant to. Portfolio:

#2. Melyna AelyssXenia, Argentina
The Soul Behind the Art – An Argentinian spirit currently navigating the structured realms of the IT field, though her true calling and absolute passion reside in the shadows of the creative unknown. She is a visionary creator of Gothic photographic productions – visual tales woven from darkness and light.
Artistic Process & Partnerships – Driven by an absolute devotion to her craft, she immerses herself entirely in every facet of the creative process, from the initial spark of inspiration to the final breath of her photoshoots and self-portraits. Her distinctive aesthetic has led to dark alliances and collaborations with prominent alternative brands, including Devil Night UK, Dark in Closet, Killstar, Altercore, Cosucos, The Pirate Dressing, and the like. She also participates in the music video project by Nox Arcana (USA) and World Gothic Models.
Passions & Aesthetics – Her artistic heart beats for Gothic Melancholy Photography and conceptual art projects staged within the silent, sacred grounds of cemeteries and ancient castles. She is deeply drawn to the timeless elegance of Victorian Goth, the Romantic Goth aesthetic, and the structured discipline of tightlacing.
Artistic Vision – Deeply rooted in the Gothic Victorian concept, her imagery is heavily inspired by the solemn, fading beauty and dark romanticism of Victorian Mourning. Every piece she creates is centered around a profound sense of melancholy and historical dark aesthetics. Yet, within this somber twilight, she masterfully breathes life into her style by incorporating enchanting vampiric and romantic elements.
Today, Melyna is based in Berlin, Germany, where she experiences the very heart of Gothic culture firsthand. Portfolio:

#3. Romina Nacht, Argentina
Pillars of Identity – Romina Nacht is Italian, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is a Medical Doctor (M.D.) who completed postgraduate training in Clinical Nutrition with certification in Sports Medicine. She loves nature. She loves ancient eras, where not only beautiful architecture and art flourished, but above all, noble virtues, pure love, honor, and the sacred word. She loves the color black, and her life philosophy is based on Gothic culture. Romina is fascinated by ancient eras: the charm of the Medieval Era, the Renaissance, Baroque, expressions such as Classicism, Romanticism, and the great Victorian Era. Urban exploration is another of her passions, especially scouting historic, forgotten locations like old churches, mansions, cemeteries, and mystical caves. These shadowy, magical settings are exactly what she captures in her photographic work.
Artistic evolution – She has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, brands, and projects. Her musical and visual collaborations include appearing in music videos for Autumn Tears (USA) and Miel Noir (DE), as well as in the music video project with Nox Arcana (USA) a few times. In the realm of alternative fashion and art, she has worked with prominent brands such as Scarlet Darkness, Gthic, Coteeza, Akasha Designs, Demon Kiss Corsets, Ritzy Birds, Lagrima Espectral, Osbidiana Black Art, The Veiker, 13 Brujas (13 Witches Teas), and many more. Romina Nacht is one of our winners, having taken second place in the Vampire Royalty 2021 contest. As a prize, she receives The Gothic Tarot deck, books, and CDs from our talented sponsor Joseph Vargo (Monolith Graphics and Nox Arcana, USA), as well as postcards, t-shirts, and other merchandise. Emotional Language of Her Style – Her visual art speaks through different emotional languages depending on the aesthetic she embodies, shifting from the melancholy, silence, and antique sadness of the Dark Victorian style to the power, mystery, and hidden intuition of occult-inspired imagery. In her Gothic Romantic work, she seeks a softer darkness defined by beauty, longing, refinement, and emotional depth. Through these diverse expressions, she transforms themes of mortality, the passage of time, and the fragility of beauty into a profound form of wisdom rather than mere sadness. Ultimately, her goal is to evoke a mixture of fascination and introspection, leaving the viewer with the haunting feeling of having touched something ancient, intimate, and unspoken. Portfolio:

#4 Jane Demonroads, Azerbaijan
When art calls – Jane has an education in logistics, but her heart has always had a passion for something creative. Not so long ago, she tried chainmaille weaving. This craft captivated her, and she decided to create her own small brand, “Dusk Forge“.
Miss Demonroads works with her friend, the photographer Mental Virus, who takes pictures at abandoned locations and creates very beautiful, atmospheric images without using any editing software.
Photosets in abandoned places are truly amazing, but sometimes risky, so everyone who tries something like that should be careful.
Brands Jane worked with – Scarlet Darkness, Vampire Freaks, and Cotee.za so far. She participates in our beauty and styling contest, Vampire Royalty 2022, where she automatically became a model-ambassador of WGM for the first time in the music video slide for the song “Lair Of The Vampire” by the legendary Nox Arcana (USA) as an appreciation for all contestants. She also participates in the World Gothic Models 2024 music video project with Nox Arcana for the song “A Dream Within A Dream“.
Identity and style – Jane always wanted to show the alluring aesthetic of dark femininity – and the setting doesn’t matter. Concepts and ideas just come to her mind, along with the locations and the desire to capture them.
She is always genuinely happy to meet creative and interesting people and loves to interact with like-minded individuals. Jane admires how a love for dark aesthetics dissolves borders and language barriers, bringing us all together here at WGM.
Our Golden Model has always wanted to show the alluring aesthetic of dark femininity – and the setting doesn’t matter, whether it’s an abandoned building or the narrow streets of the Old Town. And, of course, the goal is always to keep the shot atmospheric and convey mood.
Additional skills – as an artist, Jane has a deep affinity for makeup art, and she creates mini makeup tutorials on Instagram. She participates in our WGM Make-Up Art project alongside other models. Miss Demonroads is currently located in Baku, Azerbaijan.

#5 Vespertilia Von Mourn, Italy
Education and development – With a background in Business and Tourism, Miss Mourn found her true calling within the goth subculture, which has been central to her identity since her teens. Since 2018, she has built a diverse career as a professional makeup artist, while her modeling work has become an essential medium for her artistic expression. Driven by a passion for storytelling, she uses makeup, modeling, and writing to evoke emotion and beauty, viewing her creative work as a way to connect with others.
Message to the world – Challenging traditional beauty standards is central to Vespertilia’s work. Her own experience with chronic illness has inspired a commitment to promoting visibility for diverse and “imperfect” bodies through her modeling and content creation. Though her main profession is makeup artistry, she invests immense passion into her creative pursuits, striving to transform them into a larger, more impactful part of her career dedicated to authenticity and self-expression.
Chronicle of Experience – As a model and content creator, our Golden Model focuses on gothic, alternative, and character-driven visual storytelling. Over the years, she has collaborated with iconic brands such as Killstar, Kate’s Clothing, Red Finch Creations, Lively Ghosts, The Pretty Cult, CBeauty Mall, Darcraft, Devil Fashion, OnlyMaker Shoes, and Pirate Dressing, consistently championing authentic self-expression. For her, the gothic community is a sanctuary where individuality thrives beyond conventional expectations. Her core message is simple yet profound: you need not change to deserve belonging. In a world that often demands we be smaller or quieter, she views authenticity as an act of courage and a true form of freedom. Vespertilia’s professional journey includes serving as a makeup artist for Project MakeUp Art by WGM. Beyond her creative work, her participation in Vampire Royalty 2022 earned her the role of WGM model-ambassador, culminating in her appearance in the “Lair of the Vampire” music video by Nox Arcana – an honor bestowed upon the project’s standout participants.
Inspiration – Inspired by the intersection of dreams and reality, Vespertilia uses the gothic aesthetic to uncover beauty within nostalgia, mystery, and transformation. Her work is an invitation to look where others turn away, proving that darkness is a powerful, comforting space for self-discovery. Each image is a piece of a larger, untold story, crafted with the hope of sparking a sense of wonder and belonging. When an observer feels a piece of themselves reflected in her art, she considers her mission fulfilled. Vespertilia also says, “Darkness is not the opposite of beauty. Darkness can be introspective, romantic, powerful, comforting, and deeply human. It can be a place of self-discovery rather than fear. Never allow anyone to convince you that you are too much, not enough, or somehow wrong for being exactly who you are.” Now based in Cremona, Northern Italy, she continues to turn personal introspection into shared visual experience.
